NCICP Speaker
Haolong Yu is a second-year graduate student at the Graduate School of Education, University of Pennsylvania. He earned his B.A. in communication from the University of Colorado Denver. He has research interests in health communication with a mass media and community-based focus. He has been working for Penn Netter Center in a West-Philadelphia-based public health pipeline program for local high school students. He believes that community-based and youth-led research can benefit the community in need by addressing the health issues that matter most. He looks forward to bringing his academic expertise in public health and health communication to a doctoral level and contributing his point of view as an emerging scholar.
