John F. Burrell, Executive Director of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is responsible for managing the daily operations of the international Headquarters staff assisting with communicating with colleges and universities regarding undergraduate affairs; managing the daily operations of the Membership Training Academy since 2018. He has worked in executive leadership roles and responsibilities for more than 20 years as he Grant Compliance Officer of the City of Jacksonville, FL, Executive Assistant for the Chief and Deputy Administrative Officers for the City of Jacksonville. Prior to these positions, he served as the Head Athletic Trainer of the Washington Redskins from 2004-2010 and the inaugural season of the Jacksonville Jaguars from 1996-2004. John also served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer during the inaugural season of the Shreveport Pirates of the Canadian Football League and the first Head Athletic Trainer of the Alcorn State University.
