Malwan Johnson is a Senior Wireless Network Engineer and Architect. For the last 15 years, he has worked in both the private and government sectors designing, deploying and troubleshooting wireless networks.
Mr. Johnson holds two Bachelor of Science Degrees in Business Administration and Computer Information Systems from Towson University; a Masters Degree in Information Technology and a graduate certificate in Information Assurance from the University of Maryland Global Campus; and a host of industry certifications.
Mr. Johnson joined the Theta Omicron Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma on March 12, 2000. He quickly ascended into leadership by serving as the Chapter President from 2000 – 2002. He served as the chapter Director of Programs from 2002-2003 while also serving as the President of the National Pan-Hellenic Council. In 2003, Mr. Johnson transferred into the Epsilon Nu Sigma Chapter where he served as the 1st Vice President; Social Action Director; Financial Secretary; Director of Technology; and a member of multiple committees. He served as the State Director of Maryland from 2016 – 2020 and is currently serving as the Eastern Region Director of Social Action.
